Matted Up
The day before yesterday while getting my nails done, I glanced over at the lady sitting next to me and I noticed that her technician was applying Lincoln Park After Dark by OPI. Nothing new except that it was the Matte version. And I thought to myself hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... that's interesting looking. The Matte polish dries super fast and with an almost chalky but still cool look. Apparently I'm way behind on this trend so I decided to go with Russian Navy just to see what the big deal was. You can either wear the polish out in it's chalky form or have some high gloss applied as a top coat. I personally don't think I'll ever wear the chalky version out but I will admit that it was a cool experience.

i know all the fashion blogs and mags have been all over matte polish for more than a year now but i'm still very wary of it. tho that site made me want to EAT lincoln park after dark! lol. i liked the la paz too but i liked the shiny versy of both. lol. i like the grey but i feel like on my skin it would look disgusting.
