About a Cookie (Instead of a Cupcake)

So my family is really tripping because I'm not bringing their boo home for Christmas. She ain't coming! It's $100 each way on the plane for me to bring my DOG and I have a FREE sitter. I took her last year and the airlines beat my pockets up! There is no way that I am going to do it this year.

Day 1 - Dialogue
Me: There is a 100% chance that she isn't coming
Mom: You need to do a better job of saving your money - I hope this won't be your philosophy when I have grandkids
Me: When I have childredn, you will need to start saving YOUR money because you'll be coming to see us
Mom: No - you and your husband will send for me
Me: Ha! *DEAD*

Day 2
Mom: So what are your flight dates
Me: the 21st through the 28th
Mom: You gonna leave her with someone else for that long! [not caring about when I am coming home - just how long I'm leaving the dog].
Me: GEESH! You guys care more about the dog than you care about me!
Mom: I'm gonna tell you like you told your cousin when you were little "You need to be at home with yo baby"
Me: [thinking - what does that have to do with anything]
Mom: Put it on something? [that the dog isn't coming]
Me: Who gon check me BOO? [If said she ain't coming - She ain't coming]
Mom: Don't get it confused, if I wanna check something I will
Me: Jesus wanted me to tell you something, he said "The dog isn't coming & Who gon check ME boo?"
Mom: LOL - whatever
